Xiaomi to add split-screen multitasking feature to MIUI 8

Xiaomi last month updated it MIUI ROM to latest (8.0) the beta version of the ROM was made available for download. Beta is currently available for the Xiaomi Mi 2, Mi 2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4C, Mi 4S, MI 5, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Mi Max and all Redmi Series

According to a report by Gizmo China, the MIUI 8 will add split screen multitasking feature, but it may not be available in the first release. It added that it is not sure when the new feature will come to the users.
Split-Screen Multitasking or multi-window mode. It allows users to do two tasks at once by opening two apps side by side
Google is also working on Split-Screen Multitasking, its now available for its Developer Preview For Android N
