Xiaomi's Pocophone F1 Launched In India With Snapdragon 845 And Priced At INR20,999 ($300)

POCO,The brand new sub-brand of Xiaomi has officially launched its first smartphone here in India at an event held in New Delhi called the POCO F1.

The Pocophone F1, which will be called as POCOPHONE in the international markets has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with the starting price of INR20,999 ($300) for the 6GB RAM variant is now the most cheapest phone to offer the Flagship chipset at this price. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI on top.The MIUI skin on POCO with app drawer and few other tweaks in the UI.

The Pocophone F1 features a 6.18” LCD with a notch (which can be removed in the settings easily), Full HD+ resolution with 500nits brightness (2246 x 1080 pixels in 18.7:9 ratio) protected with a Gorilla Glass 3.On front there is an front camera, earpiece and an infrared sensor in the notch which will ensure the Face Unlock feature works well even in the dark. Hybrid SIM card slot and supports for Dual 4G VoLTE.4,000mAh non-removable battery with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support with the USB Type-C. The fingerprint scanner goes at the back of the side below the camera module.



The dual rear camera setup of the POCO F1 comes with AI features like AI scene detection, AI portrait mode, and AI beautification mode)

12 MP + 5 MP depth sensor with Sony IMX363 sensor 1.4µm with f/1.9 lens with dual led flash. At the front, there’s a 20 MP sensor for the selfies

Powered by an 2.8GHz running Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 processor with liquid cooling technology which will come handy by controlling the temperatures while playing the heavy games coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.Sports a 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM. The three storage options comes with 64GB which is priced at INR20,999 ($300), 128GB priced at INR23,999 ($345) and 256 GB priced at INR28,999($415).

Color options includes-Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Rosso Red. There is also a special edition called as Armored Edition that has a Kevlar back which is priced at INR29,999 ($430). The POCO F1 exclusively goes on sale on at August 29th at 12 PM on Mi.com and Flipkart




As of now the POCO F1 will only be available here in India and global availability dates will be revealed on August 27 in Jakarta, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Finally after lot of leaks and speculations Motorola P30 was officially unveiled by motorola today and is now available for pre-order in china,with the price tag of CNY1,999($289) for the 6/64 GB variant and CNY2,099($303) for 128 GB storage. Since Lenovo is now parent company of Motorola it will come with ZUI 4.0 on top of the Android Oreo 8.0

Packs it inside a 6.2” IPS LCD panel and Full HD+ resolution( ratio to 19:9) with a notch on top,a 1.8 Ghz Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. Comes with USB Type C port. A fingerprint scanner at the back which can been seen on the Moto Dimple. 3,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Storage options includes- 6 GB RAM and two storage options - 64 GB and 128 GB which can be extended via microSD upto 256Gb.
With dual rear cameras 16 MP + 5 MP with f/1.8 aperture for the 16MP and the secondary camera gets f/2.2 with dual-tone LED flash in the middle of the cameras.

Xiaomi today has launched its latest Android tablet, the Mi Pad 4 Plus which is the successor to its Mi Pad 4 which was launch back in June this year, in China. As for the pricing the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is priced in China at CNY 1,899 (275$) for the 4GB/64GB variant and CNY 2,099 (304$) for 4GB/128GB variant. As of now It's currently only available in China which will go on sale at 10am CST (7:30 am IST) on August 16 at MI.com, in Black and Gold colour variants.
