LG announces global roll out of X series smartphones

South Korean giant LG announced its new mid-range 'X series' of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016. The company has now revealed that it will be rolling out the X Cam and X Screen smartphones in Korea starting this week.

After launching Twitter App for Windows 10 desktop laptops and tablets in July Twitter has now announced app for Windows 10 Mobile and is now available to download from the Windows store.

"When bringing the app to mobile phones we carefully considered each section of Twitter and how the user interaction translates from desktops and tablets," Twitter Product Designer Angela Lam wrote in a blog post. "We found that 90 percent of the UI and interaction models could be shared from these devices to mobile phones, but there were places where we decided to make adjustments to optimize for each."

Here maps announces that it's ending support for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The company is pulling its apps from Windows 10's app store on March 29th, and the apps running will stop working after June 30th. The Here apps for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 will continue to work, but you won't get more than "critical bug fixes" from now on.

"We made the Here apps compatible with Windows 10 by using a workaround that will no longer be effective after June 30, 2016," explains Here spokesperson Pino Bonetti. "To continue offering the HERE apps for Windows 10 would require us to redevelop the apps from the ground up, a scenario that led to the business decision to remove our apps from the Windows 10 store."
